Jonathan S. Ring is a licensed Professional Civil Engineer, and is the President of Jones & Beach Engineers in Stratham, NH.  The company does property surveys, septic system designs, site plan and subdivision design and approvals.  Jon has more than 25 years of experience in this field, and earned an MS Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of New Hampshire in 1985, and a BA in German from UNH in 1976.  He is known for his attention to detail, communication and teamwork abilities, and public presentation skills.

Jon currently serves as Chairman of the Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Secretary of the Rockingham County 4-H Foundation, Secretary of the Exeter Area Charitable Foundation, and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, and the Seacoast African American Cultural Center.  He has been a member of the Bah�� Faith for almost 40 years.  He lives in Exeter with his wife of 32 years, Phyllis Edgerly Ring, a writer. They have two grown children, Vanessa Jette and Tobey Ring, who also live in New Hampshire.
